    Get it right?!?

Tuesday, November 25, 2008, 08:35 PM EST [General]

One of these days I am going to get this game right (to me) again.  I continue my struggles even with practice.  It seems when the "lights" are on I lose everything I am and have worked for during my practice.  I got a new ball thinking that might help me a little and it has but only a little.  I don't know where to turn anymore and seem to continue to confuse myself more and more every week.  While I used to be about a 180 average bowler, now I find I am not even in the 160's.  I know there are lots of people struggling right along with me but at one point or another you have to break out of the funk.  I have had but one series over 500 so far this season.  Very unlike me and it is really wearing on my ego and pride.  I started bowling in a PBA league hoping that would improve my focus and desire but alas I am only in the very low 150's.  Look at the links below if you are really curious about what I speak of.  Granted I know no one on here truly knows my game but if you happen to have been in this rut I am in and got out of it, please tell me what you did to dig your way out.  I would greatly, greatly appreciate it.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and remember to give thanks for at least one thing this holiday season.

A new season with horrible results

Wednesday, October 15, 2008, 08:30 PM EST [General]

    Hey everyone,

I am jealous of everyone who is bowling well this year so far.  My game for the most part is in the tank and I can't figure out what I am doing so wrong.  I only hope I can figure it out real soon because my ego is taking a major hit right now.  You will see what I am talking about by looking at the scores below.

I wish everyone the best of seasons both on and off the lanes.

    Back to the right

Well it has been several weeks since I wrote anything here but since that time I have gotten back to the right side of the ball...I can't say I have done anything great but I have had a few bright spots but many more dark and dreary spots.  I really need to start picking up my game because soon it will be time to go out west to bowl at Nationals.  I am attaching my BowlingTracker stats for anyone who would like to see what I mean by ups and downs.

I hope everyone has a great week!!  Until next time -->>

    The same old story

Friday, February 22, 2008, 10:34 PM EST [General]

Well yet another week has come and gone.  I had a couple of ups but mostly downs in my league play this week.  I am just trying to have fun now but I am still getting extremely frustrated with my performances.  I have a pretty good game and then just can't seem to get anything else going for the life of me.  Please look at the scores posted on BowlTracker below if you are curious.

Hope eveyyone has a great week.  Until then ---->>>

    A half and half week

Friday, February 15, 2008, 09:20 PM EST [General]

Well this week started off way off the mark.  My series on Tuesday night was really bad and I have been continuing to wonder if I should continue this left-handed quest.  Friends told me to forget about what that computer screen overhead says and just go out and have fun.  I did that a little more on Thursday night and did bowl somewhat better so I got the ego boost I needed to go on.  See the scores below if you wish.  Just remember they are nothing great but I am definetly not a switch hitter.

I am in therapy for my right arm and wrist now and gaining strength each and every day.  It is still going to be a long road and I don't really plan on picking up a ball for at least 3 to 6 more months.  I will be doing a whole lot of my own therapy to get stronger and stronger.

    Until next week ----->
